Laëtitia de Bazelaire, sculptor born in Dijon in 1973, has lived and worked in Paris since 2001.
After studying at the Beaux-Arts de Versailles and then in the wood sculpture workshop of the Ecole Boulle, with Professor P. Blanchard, she obtained a national diploma in Arts and Crafts in 1998. Then she chose to continue her training in direct carving at the Ateliers Beaux-Arts de la Glacière in stone, marble and wood.
In 2001, she set up her studio in an old wooden shop in the working-class district of rue Sainte Marthe in Paris, while participating in numerous exhibitions at the Galerie Lefor Openo located on rue Mazarine in Paris from 2001 to 2010 and most recently at the Galerie Mayaro in 2020. Between 1999 and today, she has participated in numerous international symposiums around the world: Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Russia, China, Nepal, Iran, Bolivia, Transylvania, which has allowed her to create more monumental works "in situ".
These works gradually entered private and public collections.
